Anny Traingle Design

Ich muss euch heute unbedingt noch ein Design zeigen, dass ich bei Marzipany für den Anny Nail Art Contest eingereicht habe. Dafür, dass ich anfangs gar keine Idee hatte, was ich machen möchte, hat es mir wirklich gut gefallen, aber seht selbst!

Today I really need to show you a design I did for the Nail Art Contest by Anny, which I found at Marzipany's page.

I didn't really have an idea when I started, so I really like how it came out in the end.

Den Anfang habe ich mit eine Gradient und den Lacken Prima Ballerina und Hot to Handle gemacht. Auf zwei Schichten der Prima Ballerina habe ich mit einem Schwämmchen den Hot To Handle getupft, bis es mir gefallen hat. Allein das hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich es am liebsten ein paar Tage allein getragen hätte. Es war mir aber dann doch zu einfach und so kam noch ein dritter Lack ins Spiel.

I started off with a gradient using Prima Ballerina and Hot To Handle. I applied two coats of Prima Ballerina and then applied Hot To Handle using a make up sponge.

I really like how simple but still elegant it looks and I am sure I will wear this design again soon enough. as for the contest it seemed to simple, which is why I used a third polish as well.

Mit etwas Tesa habe ich dann die Dreiecksform angeklebt und mit einem weiteren Schwamm den Lack The Answer Is Love aufgetupft. Der Lack hat leider nicht so stark gedeckt, wie ich es mir gewünscht habe, wodurch das Dreieck eher blau/lila gewirkt hat. Trotzdem habe mit das Design alles in allem gut gefallen und ich habe es auch ein paar Tage getragen.

Abgeschlossen habe ich natürlich wie üblich mit einer Schicht Überlack.

I used scotch tape to make a triangle shape and applied The Answer Is Love with another sponge. It was not as opaque as I wished, which is why it looks more blue/purple instead of  bordeaux. So in the end it did not look how I imagined it to, but I still liked the design and wore it for a few days.

I finished off with a top coat - as usual.
